Dragons

Nidhogg

Dragons are evolved or mutant reptilia, with large bodies and scary motions. But not every dragon is dangerous, Chinese dragons, for example, signify nobility and wisdom. Chinese dragons have four legs, no wings, and are scaly. Not every Chinese dragon breathes fire, some of them live in the sea or in caves. They do not need wings to fly, and they crawl.

But European dragons are not the same, they are always evil, disasterous, and are always killed by a hero in fairytales. These dragons have a pair of large wings to fly. They spit flames from their mouth, which are full of fangs.

And there is a dragon chewing on the roots of the World Tree in Norse mythology, Nidhogg. I didn’t find any dragons in Egyptian mythology, but the Greeks have a lot of them. Chinese dragons are the symbol of the kings; the rulers of ancient China wore clothes patterned with dragons. Chinese believed that dragons brought health and wealth to them.

Dragons, evil or good?

What do you think mythology is? For us, mythology is nothing, because we are the mythic one!
